Position: Live-In Custodian/Relief Superintendent

Location: 1540 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, Ontario

Start Date: June 21, 2010

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning of the Residence common spaces, office spaces, washrooms, utility rooms and any accessible windows
• Cleaning/Preparation of suites in transition in cooperation with Building Superintendents
• Light bulb replacement in suites and throughout general building
• Set-up for events
• Assistance with grounds maintenance throughout the year
• Maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory
• Position involves two day shifts and three afternoon/evening shifts
• Emergency on-call coverage every third week

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in cleaning
• Knowledge of technical, mechanical and emergency systems
• Ability to respond in emergency situations with competence and effectiveness
• Be in good physical condition as some tasks require above average physical strength and endurance
• Willingness to learn
• Positive attitude toward seniors
